Red Clay Rally

The Red Clay Rally, set for September 13-15, 2024, is a thrilling three-day adventure rally held at the Black Mountain Off Road Adventure Area. Established in 2017, this event challenges participants to navigate over 250 miles of some of the most demanding terrain in Appalachia. It is designed for experienced off-roaders who possess the skills and equipment to tackle difficult paths without external assistance. The rally emphasizes self-reliance and resilience, making it a true test of endurance and navigation skills for all involved.

In addition to the competition, the Red Clay Rally is dedicated to environmental stewardship and community engagement. Participants have contributed significantly to trail maintenance, removing over 3,950 pounds of trash and debris since the rally’s inception. This commitment to preserving the natural beauty of the Appalachian trails highlights the event’s dedication to responsible off-roading.
